Movie Events for the DCBC

So at the last meeting (which was fun and a great discussion of Daytripper), we thought it would be a good time to get together outside the normal schedule and try seeing this summer’s next two big comic book-related films as a group: The Amazing Spiderman and The Dark Knight Rises.

Our plan is to see them at the AMC Northpark theater on a weekday afternoon (in glorious–and preferred–two-dimensions), then hit a restaurant or convenient meeting place afterward to talk and have a good time.  The proposed dates and showtimes are as follows:

  • Amazing Spiderman: July 10, 5:50 PM
  • Dark Knight Rises: July 31, sometime between 4:30-5:30 (showtimes are not posted yet for this date on AMC’s site)

Does this work for everyone?  Let’s try and purchase tickets early (I believe they can be bought through AMC’s website: http://www.amctheatres.com/movie-theatres/amc-northpark-15, then click the calendar to choose July 10, then click on the showtime and it will take you to a Fandango page to purchase tickets) and I will follow up when the showtimes are posted for July 31.
